About Laura
Experience: 3 yrs
Empowering students to reach their full academic potential is the driving force behind my 20+ years of experience as a Certified teacher. My core philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. To keep sessions engaging, I bridge challenging concepts with real-world examples and your personal interests. I prioritize clear communication with both students and parents to create a collaborative environment built on trust. By utilizing regular feedback and check-ins, I tailor my methods to suit your unique learning style. Whether we are tackling complex test preparation or foundational subjects, I find the greatest reward in helping you achieve your specific academic goals. I am comfortable working with pets and am ready to support your journey, whether at home, online, or in a center. I look forward to helping you discover just how much you are capable of achieving.
Most recent review
Ms. Laura is a highly knowledgeable teacher who patiently shares that with four classes, or individual students who need the clarity she can provide to increase their understanding and test scores.
