About Laura

At 55 years old, I am educated and experienced in working with and supporting children of all ages and differences. I have an autistic 11year old son, a 9-year-old son, and a 4-year-old daughter. I left my career to homeschool my oldest and help him with the care he needed. I enjoy supporting families and caring for children. I have 20 plus years of experience caring for children aged newborn on up to adulthood. I hold a graduate degree and am comfortable caring for up to three children. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing board games, reading, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always follow parents' preferred communication methods. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a reliable car and am comfortable with pets. I'm eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family, creating a nurturing and fun environment for your children to thrive.
