About Laura

Nurturing young minds is my passion. For the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of caring for children aged newborn to 11. My background includes some graduate school, Early Childhood Education (ECE), and Early Child Development Coursework. I'm also certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I held a Vermont Teaching License for 6 years (birth-pre k) I'm patient, creative, and friendly, and I love playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I always communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's written reports or chats at pickup. I am comfortable caring for one child. Ultimately, I strive to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where children can thrive. I'm excited to learn how I can support your family's needs.
