I am a very caring person who is a wife and mother of a grown and married daughter. I have over 20 years experience doing home health care. I love animals, reading, being outdoors My latest experience for the last 2 1/2 years was caring for a lady who had dementia and lived with her daughter and son-in-law. We did puzzles, memory games, listened to music, read books and sat outside to watch the birds together. I prepared her breakfast and lunch and cleaned up after meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, changed her bedding, and toileting as she was incontinent. ( I am looking for a new position, and she passed away recently). Before my last job I had the privilege of caring for my mother who had dementia and lived with us for five years after my father passed away. I have cared for people with Foley catheters, colostomy bags, feeding tubes, diabetics on insulin, dementia, as well as companion positions. I have excellent references.
