About Laura

I am the mother of 3 children who are now young adults. As a retired occupational therapist, I have a solid understanding of what children need at various developmental stages. I'm an animal lover and a non-smoker. I have my own reliable transportation. I never had anyone I trusted (other than family) to help with my children. I'd like to be the one you could turn to for loving, attentive, engaging care of your little ones. My demeanor is patient, quiet, loving, and fun. I've been caring for 3 children for one family since early 2018, when the youngest was just 12 weeks old; she is now in kindergarten. I have grown to love these children as if they were my own grandchildren. It has been a deeply rewarding experience. As is the nature of things, as these kids have gotten older, they need less of my time. I'm now hoping to provide loving care to other children.
