About Laura

Hi. I was a registered CNA in Mass and RI from 2002 through 2014. I have worked in nursing homes, but the bulk of my experience was in home care working with the elderly with a focus on dementia and Alzheimer's care. I have moved to private care and offer a more full spectrum care approach. I am a very family oriented person and making my clients feel cared for and part of something is something I excel at. I have three children, all boys, ranging in age from 5-14 and live in ACK year round. I have housing also. I can provide references from prior elderly clients I have cared for on Nantucket, as I am still in touch with the families. If you give me a chance, you will not be disappointed. I also provide child care services, baby sitting for date nights mostly, with some availability during the week for daytime care.
