About Laura

I have lived on the Island for 4 years and I have 3 sons, 2, 8, and 11. Including my own personal experience, I have years of experience caring for children and adults, including special needs children and dementia patients. I was a CNA for 13 years prior to coming to Nantucket and now focus primarily on private care-giving (elderly/adult and special needs children) and babysitting/nannying. I am available for date nights throughout the school year. (3 hour minimum). I am also available to take 1-2 children during the day in my home if you are comfortable with that. I am home with my 2-year-old son and I home school my older boys. I understand childcare is hard to secure here on island and look to help when and where I can. I am available for the remainder of this summer/early fall for afternoon care and starting in November I'm available full time Monday-Friday. I love working with children and adults of all ages and look forward to hearing from you!
