Laura has been an extraordinary presence in our family for the past three years, and it’s difficult to fully capture just how much she has meant to us. What began as an au pair arrangement quickly grew into something far more meaningful; Laura became a trusted caregiver, a role model, and truly an extension of our family.

From the very beginning, Laura brought warmth, reliability, and an incredible sense of responsibility to her role. She has a natural gift with children: patient, attentive, and deeply intuitive. She consistently created a nurturing and structured environment where our children felt safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. Whether helping with schoolwork, organizing creative activities, or simply being present and engaged, Laura approached every moment with care and intention.

Beyond her exceptional childcare skills, Laura is remarkably dependable and professional. We always felt complete peace of mind knowing our children were in her care. She handled busy schedules, unexpected challenges, and the day-to-day demands of family life with grace and positivity.

What truly sets Laura apart is the genuine bond she formed with our children. She invested in them emotionally, celebrated their milestones, and supported them through challenges with kindness and empathy. The impact she has had on their development and happiness is immeasurable.

It was therefore deeply upsetting and frankly alarming to learn that her subsequent placement in New Jersey did not provide the safe, respectful, and supportive environment that someone of Laura’s caliber deserves. From what I understand, the conditions she experienced were not only professionally inappropriate but at times compromised her sense of safety and well-being. Laura has always conducted herself with integrity, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to the families she serves, and it is incredibly disheartening to know that she was met with circumstances that did not uphold even basic standards of care and respect. No caregiver, especially one as dedicated and conscientious as Laura, should ever feel undervalued, unsupported, or placed in a situation where their personal safety or dignity is at risk.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Laura with us for three years. Any family would be lucky to have her; she is not only an outstanding nanny but also a truly wonderful person. I would wholeheartedly and enthusiastically serve as a reference for Laura and am happy to speak in more detail about her many strengths, her character, and the positive impact she has had on our family. She has strongest possible reccomendation.

Everything was going well, until she decided to not show up to work and "ghost" our family instead of communicating with us. We liked her when she was working with us, but ultimately she is too immature. I would recommend anyone working with her to proceed with caution.
