About Laura

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is something I've always enjoyed doing. I have a full time job but I'm looking to babysit on the weekends and give parents a night out or some time off. My babysitting experiences sparked a desire to positively impact young lives, leading me to three fulfilling years of childcare when I was in college. I hold a BS in engineering and maintain current First Aid Training and CPR Training. Parents appreciate my patient, calm, and friendly demeanor. I prioritize open communication, providing verbal updates at pickup and tailoring communication (text or call) to your preferences. Enforcing household rules is something I'm very comfortable with. I enjoy engaging children with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I'm a very active person and like to give kids opportunities to get outside. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I'm comfortable caring for one or two child at a time.
