About Laura

Hi! I'm Laura, an incoming college student with experience caring for and teaching children of many different ages. Through babysitting, tutoring, and working in church programs, I've worked with kids from ages 0-16 y/o and have learned how important patience, consistency, and kindness are when caring for children. I would describe myself as calm, supportive, responsible, and energetic when needed. I love creating a fun and positive environment for kids through crafts, active games, and basic learning activities while still maintaining structure and safety. I'm also comfortable helping with homework, meals, bedtime routines, and light housekeeping. I am CPR certified and a non-smoker. I take safety and responsibility seriously. I'm completely comfortable in homes with pets, since I love animals and have experience caring for them as well. Families often describe me as patient, dependable, and sweet, and I always aim to make children feel safe, supported, and engaged while in my care.
