About Laura

Hi! My name is Laura and I am 25. I love spending time in Florida's beautiful outdoors. I love visits to the beach, to the library, or just the backyard. I can cook, clean, tutor, and more. I'd love to help you care for some of your most important family members- your kids! I'd describe my personality as calm, positive, and fun. I like working with kids because they're experiencing life for the first time and it's fun to see their perspectives. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and allows me to maintain a healthy work life balance. I started working with kids when I was 13 at my church. In high school I was in the early childhood development program. I babysat 4 little boys (oldest in 1st grade, youngest in diapers), and in college I babysat a 5-year-old little girl. I worked as a high school secretary for a year, so I also have experience working with older kids. Learning is so much fun, especially as a kid. I love to help kids learn about the world around them.
