About Laura

I'd describe my personality as very nurturing. I like caring for seniors because I like hearing their stories, spending time with them and making sure that all of their needs are being met. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility. I prefer to working (3) 12 hour overnight shifts, as I already have a day client. I started working at a nursing home when I was 15 and stayed until I graduated high school and then I went on to college. I've worked as a secretary and an X-Ray tech at hospital, but ultimately I enjoy working with the elderly. I've been offering private care for the last 12yrs. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my family. I am married and we have two teenagers, so spending time with them is always fun. One thing you should know about me is that I am an animal lover and I'll probably talk to your dogs lol My skills include hospice care, full personal care, dementia and Alzheimer's care as well.
