About Laura

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker experienced in providing therapy to children and adolescents. In addition to my role as a clinician, I have worked with numerous families to provide warm, engaging childcare. Beginning at age 13, I offered babysitting to families with 2-3 children between the ages of 5 and 10. While attending Boston University, I served as a nanny for 3-year-old twins and a 6-year-old. I have also interned at a therapeutic summer camp for children ages 5-14 with emotional and behavioral concerns. In graduate school, I offered babysitting to a family with two children ages 6 and 8. In the last year, I was a caregiver for a 5-year-old with autism. My personality as been described as "bright and colorful." I love connecting with and caring for others! My kindness, empathy, creativity, problem-solving skills, communication, and dependability all support my ability to provide fun, nurturing childcare.
