About Laura

Child at heart I have been caring for children since I was a young girl and always enjoyed playing/exploring/learning/teaching/caring for the children. Which is why I have done everything from coaching a Special Olympics team to teaching swimming, photography, and English to children. Play options are unlimited - indoor/outdoor, creative, active, reading, cooking... For me the joy is finding what excites each child - and then creating an opportunity for play and learning. Currently, I am writing a children's book series and want to spend more time with kids. I also teach meditation & ESL to children and adults. All ages are a fun and creative challenge for me - always working to keep them safe, happy and learning! Teaching beyond curriculum for me includes: meditation, anti-bullying, RTT Hypnotherapy, ART, Documentary film, Swimming, Languages: Native English Speaker, Advanced Mandarin Chinese, Beginner Japanese, Beginner French. I love to teach & ignite passion for learning!

5 stars! Laura was able to step in on short notice to help our family for the day. She was prepped with creative and fun activities for my 9 and 5 year old. They were off and playing immediately, and took right to her. I was traveling- Laura was fantastic at sending updates throughout the day with quick pics & videos. Very thoughtful caregiver.
