About Laura Lynn

I recently retired after 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. While I do not have any certifications or direct employment history in this area, I do have personal experience. I cared for my father in my house for over 5 years. He was wheel chair bound and required daily hygiene care, meal preparation, transportation to doctors, medication management and companionship. I also care for my brother, who has a seizure disorder. He is very very high functioning and does not require much support except for companionship and fun! I have also volunteered at an organization called Jills House in Washington DC I was often paired with individuals that suffered from intellectual disabilities as I have a knack for bringing them out of their shells and engaging them with stories, activities and laughter. I know I don't have the typical bio for a care giver but if you are looking for someone to be a companion to your loved one, I am your girl. Thanks for your consideration.
