About Laura Katherine

I'm an 18-year-old high school graduate who is looking for more child care experience. Apart from helping with my 4 siblings, this past summer I worked at highly known sleep away camp located in the Midwest called Wonderland Camp, which is a disability accessible and centered camp for people of all ages. There I was hired as a lifeguard, performing lifeguard duties at the pool and the lake waterfront. When I was not lifeguarding, I assisted/ performed personal care and watched 12 campers at any given time. I am also a Certified Dog Handler! I spent two years studying canine psychology and behaviors, and assisted in the training of Assistant dogs/ Emotional Support Animals, including the training of my own Service Dog in Training. I also have 8+ years of experience pet sitting and dog walking pets of all sizes and temperaments. I have a passion for animal welfare, and do my absolute best ensure that every interaction with your pet is of the highest quality.
