About Laura

I believe it's very difficult to raise a family in today's overstimulating environment. I am an empty nester now, but looking back, I wish I had asked or paid for more help. So much of how I parented was nutured into me that mother's sacrifice everything personal for the good of the family. And while I think sacrifices are always needed, mother's have to learn to ask for help and/or simplify life. Truth is, we are children when we are having children. I can see that clearly now. perspective. Help is not a luxury. it's a necessity. I am a licensed Barber/hairdresser and have helped many elderly at their home in this capacity. I have been a teacher and a coach at high-school level. I am a patient, creative caregiver. I listen to understand. I like to have fun and laugh. I truly look forward to becoming a trusted helper in your family.
