About Laura

Being a mother was the hardest but most rewarding adventure of my life. I believe it's very difficult to raise children in today's overstimulating environment. As a mother of 5, looking back, I wish I had asked or paid for more help. Help is not a luxury. it's a necessity! I raised 5 daughters, my youngest is 19. I homeschooled for 6 years with my children who wanted to learn in different creative ways. I enjoy hands on learning and learning through nature and creativity. I studied human development and have a Bachelor degree from Utah State. I am fun and loving with children, I love watching them figure things out and helping them express themselves and gain confidence. I am dependable and prompt. I am a licensed Barber/hairdresser and have helped many elderly at their home in this capacity. I have been a teacher and a coach at high-school level. I am a patient, creative caregiver. I listen to understand. I like to have fun and laugh.
