I'd describe my personality as calm, reassuring, compassionate I'm looking for a PT job that allows me to provide care for people experiencing up to and including stage 5 dementia, respite for end stage hospice caregivers and those that need temporary care (surgical recovery) I am reliable and communicate & update families well through documentation. I provide companionship, engage client in ability appropriate activities, bathing/dressing assistance, travel to and from appointments, grocery shopping, errands, encourage socialization if living within an assisted living facility, pet care, medication/food/fluid intake prompting, and light housekeeping (see specifics below.) Light housekeeping: Laundry (wash/dry/fold) change bed linens, vacuum floors, wipe down kitchen counters, clean kitchen sink & microwave, do dishes, clean and organize fridge & food pantry, dusting from eye level down. Unable to provide Hoyer lift assistance, wound care or assist with fecal incontinence.
