Laura (Laurie) was a caregiver for my wife Pam for 3 years. In the beginning, Pam was reluctant to have someone other than her husband taking care of her. But with patience and a gentle caring approach Laurie quickly overcame Pam resistance and they became friends, going to lunch, movies and shopping. As Pam's Alzheimers progressed, Laurie adjusted her level of care to Pams needs. Near the end, when Pam needed to remain at home, Laurie was by her side providing care and assistance in the most loving way possible. I strongly recommend Laurie a a competent and caring caregiver.
