I have had a career as a nanny since 1998 and I absolutely love what I do. In January 2016 I gave birth to my son.. Working with children is my real passion in life. I have a BA in Psychology and I also have my license as a Vocational Nurse. I have cared for all ages from newborn to teen. I have worked for families with one child as well as large families. I spent 12 years living and working in San Francisco. I also spent many years working as a nanny in the East Bay. I moved back to Walnut Creek in 2014 . I know my way around the East Bay very well. I have lots of fun ideas for places to go on outings, as well as enriching classes to attend. I enjoy engaging children in all sorts of activities such as singing, reading, make believe play and art projects. I still have as big of an imagination as I did as a child and believe it is important for children to tap into that.

Laura adores babies and will love your little ones as much as her own. She had fun activities and ideas for my very active little guy even as young as 6 months.  Drop offs were always easy because he was excited to be there and he was always happy at pick ups. She was able to get him to nap no problem and stick to his schedule. I knew he was cared for during the day which was a huge relief. I highly recommend Laura becomes part of your care team.

Literally, one of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Laura! I was looking for a nanny for my daughter and kept striking out. I would meet people, interview them and then they would flake. Laura has years of experience and it shows in her care for the children and also their families. As a new mother I was immediately set at ease and the transition back to work was seamless. My son took to her confidence and warmth instantly, which is no easy feat with my LO.  My son also was strident in his rejection of the bottle.  Laura was so very patient and creative in working with him, and me, to get him fed. In no time he was not only taking the bottle, but loving it! That is entirely due to Laura’s help and her collaborative nature.  I cannot recommend her enough!

Laura is a baby whisperer. She nannied our daughter from eight months to 1 1/2 years, and clearly loved and cherished her.  She even helped implement great sleep habits and weaned our daughter off her pacifier! Laura is punctual, communicative, and responsible (and a lot of fun to chat with). We loved working with Laura and hated moving away!

Laura has been taking care of my 15 month old daughter since she was 4 months old. Laura is loving and attentive. She takes my daughter on walks, to the park, to the pool and sets up activities for her in the yard. My daughter and Laura have a great relationship, I never worry about her while she is in her care. Laura was nanny to our oldest daughter between the ages of 6 months and 2 years. She was a fabulous nanny- always on time, flexible with our schedule, and very intuitive to our daughter's needs.  Laura is super fun with her kids, and very creative in the activities that she does with them. She has a good sense of early childhood development and was an avid reader and conversationalist with our daughter, which really helped with her early vocabulary. She has loads of experience and I would without hesitation recommend her as a nanny to other families!!

Laura was nanny to our daughter from about 5 months of age to 2 yo. She was a wonderful caregiver to her both at the baby stage and as she became a toddler. Laura is sweet, patient, loving and was very intuitive to her needs. I was always amazed at her ability to carry on a conversation with a nonverbal baby. Our daughter was very verbal at a young age, likely in part due to Laura. Ultimately what you want in a nanny - lots of experience, reliability, the feeling that your child will be safe and loved- Laura has. I would highly recommend her without hesitation!

Warm, nurturing and highly responsible! Laura cared for my son from age 2 to 5 and my daughter from 5 to 11 months until we moved away.  Highly recommend!

Laura has been great for our little boy. She has helped with his skill development and some feeding issues we were having. She's reliable, friendly and very caring. She had lots of experience and I highly recommend her.
