I have had a career as a nanny since 1998 and I absolutely love what I do. In January 2016 I gave birth to my son.. Working with children is my real passion in life. I have a BA in Psychology and I also have my license as a Vocational Nurse. I have cared for all ages from newborn to teen. I have worked for families with one child as well as large families. I spent 12 years living and working in San Francisco. I also spent many years working as a nanny in the East Bay. I moved back to Walnut Creek in 2014 . I know my way around the East Bay very well. I have lots of fun ideas for places to go on outings, as well as enriching classes to attend. I enjoy engaging children in all sorts of activities such as singing, reading, make believe play and art projects. I still have as big of an imagination as I did as a child and believe it is important for children to tap into that.

Literally, one of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Laura! I was looking for a nanny for my daughter and kept striking out. I would meet people, interview them and then they would flake. I was running out of time and didn’t have any options so I decided to create an account on care.com. I came across Laura’s profile and figured what could I lose and I reached out to her. At that point, my daughter had only done in-home nanny services so I was nervous about the whole nanny share idea. After meeting Laura, she quickly eased my concerns and has been a godsend to our family. Laura is extremely loving, kind, thoughtful, and an amazing caregiver. She loves taking care of children and I know my daughter is safe in her care. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
