About Laura

Hi there! My name is Laura and I am an experienced and dedicated educator. After spending four years teaching English as a Second Language in middle school, and an additional five years of teaching writing at the collegiate level, I am now offering educational services independently. I have 5+ years experience with tutoring developing writers at the high school and college level, with an additional 4+ years of experience teaching writing and reading to elementary and middle school students. My undergraduate degree was in Creative Writing, and my graduate degree was in Applied Linguistics. I am a Massachusetts certified teacher for grades 5-12, and I have extensive experience teaching multilingual students of every age group. I specialize in social studies, reading, writing, college prep, and home schooling. I am excited to have the opportunity to help your family reach your educational goals!
