Right now I am giving care in home to a stroke patient who is unable to feed, bathe or really do anything without assistance. I work at night so that means I help him into a tub, bathe and wash his hair as needed. I make sure he is fed and that he gets his medication I. e insulin injections and oral. Give breathing treatments when needed, monitor blood sugar and oxygen levels as well as blood pressure. And monitor him through out the night when I put him to bed. Address any breakdown on skin to keep sores at bay. Document any and all findings. I am always punctual, neat and clean in appearance. Professional but have a sense of humor and always put the patient needs first. I am married with stepchildren and grandchildren. I do love caring for others. I have strong Christian faith and values. I have been with this family three years.
