About Laura

I love kids profoundly and my priorities when caring for them are safety and fun. I'm the third of six kids, so I've been caring for children since I was young. I'm a devoted mother to two girls, and I've hosted international high school students from many cultural and religious backgrounds. I've also been caring for my nieces and nephews for years, ranging in age from 16 to newborn. I want to help parents with the juggle of having small children now that Im through that season. My strengths are creativity, playfulness, and many years of experience. Kids should have space to explore, laugh, and learn. Im engaged; talking, playing, and imagining with them, not sitting on my phone. I grew up in a big family, so Im used to the noise, energy and the beautiful chaos that comes w kids. I don't expect perfection; I expect personality. I love seeing kids express who they are and helping them grow in confidence and kindness. I believe structure is helpful but flexibility is essential.
