About Laura

My name is Laura, I am the daughter of a Colonel in the US Army and a Retired Captain of the US Air Force. I have worked closely with children all of my life, and I find nothing as rewarding. In the summer of 2012 I traveled with a family with 3 girls to their new military posting in Hawaii. I spent the summer helping 3 girls adapt to their new home as their live in nanny. I also work as a sitter and nanny locally. I am always up to play pirates or watch Frozen 12 times in a row. My phone has more Disney and the wiggles on it than I care to admit, and I make macaroni and cheese better than anyone I know. I do my best to cater to each child's interests and desires so that they always have fun, but I know when to be stern if necessary. I have worked with kids from newborns to preteens and everywhere in between. I completely understand last minute emergencies and I do my best to make myself available.
