About Laura

As an older sibling and local babysitter in my hometown, I've had the joy of working with kids for years. I've had years of experience caring for children ranging from 4 months to 12 years old and I can definitely say that each of them has been a blessing in my life. As a babysitter, I handle tasks like light housework, homework help, and cooking -- something that I always try to include the kids in. Personally I have had first aid training, experience as a CNA, and early childhood training both at school and in the church as a nursery volunteer. With all my skills and experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, and stable environment for your little ones while keeping it fun. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Physician Assistant studies and am receiving further training in health care in order to pursue a job in the pediatric field. I'm also willing to be flexible about my hourly rates, and tend to work on a sliding scale based on what the family is able to provide.
