About Laura

Hi! I'm Laura, a recent UTRGV graduate with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences (May 2026). I'm currently studying for the MCAT while working toward my dream of becoming a physician. I have hands-on childcare experience as an Assistant Teacher at the UTRGV Child Development Center. I primarily cared for infants (3-12 months) and toddlers (19-27 months), while also working with children up to age 3. I loved creating a safe, nurturing environment where little ones could learn, play, and feel cared for. I'm patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy being around children. I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their little ones with someone they trust, and I'll always treat your child with care and respect. While preparing for medical school, I'm hoping to babysit to help support my MCAT and school expenses, contribute toward my bills, and have some personal spending money.
