About Laura

Before I became a SPED Teacher, I worked as a Care Provider for 10 years. As a CP, I assisted with the daily needs of a senior person with multiple diseases and ultimate disability until her passing. I am patient, kind, encouraging, creative, flexible, resilient, comforting and funny! I like caring for seniors because they are full of unique knowledge and insight. I'm looking for a job that helps the individual and their family to live their best quality life and stay at home! I started caring for seniors when I volunteered, with my Dad, at ARC in the early 2000's. Then I began working as a paid caregiver for the next 10 years. Next I went into working with high needs children. I believe we are here to serve others. I like to hike with my husband around Arizona. I love learning, reading, cooking, organizing, decluttering, gardening and volunteering. I value honesty, positivity and integrity above all. Life is precious. I bring curiosity, patience, persistence and humor!
