I'd describe my personality as smart reliable trustworthy, capable and very pleasant. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy speaking with and having the company of older people. They are knowledgeable and have an interesting view on things. I just like to help in anyway I can to improve the quality of one's life. I enjoy doing a lot of things, but cooking, meal prepping, is my specialty. Keeping active is so important I encourage chair yoga going for walks playing monopoly and other board games, cards, etc to help with physical and mind activity. I started caring for seniors when I was young. I've been in the medical field in many aspects for 35 years. I worked as a EMT at radiation therapy for 10 years.. I have done home healthcare more recently. I've also done Pet care, dog walking and Sitting. I enjoy all of it. In my spare time, I have a horse that I love to ride at least once a week. I also work out at the gym, go for walks, go to the beach, kayaking you name it.

Laura had worked for me and my father for over a year. Friendly and thoughtful, she helped keep his mind active by playing games, doing chair yoga, and going for walks. She also made sure that he was safe. Laura would help to get him up and dressed and help with preparing simple meals and snacks for him when needed. I also have a dog that she so graciously tolerated. Unfortunately, my dad has passed. But, if I needed a caregiver again; I would hire her back in a heartbeat.
