About Laura

Hii my name is Laura! I am new to Care. Aside from picking up babysitting gigs, I am an After school counselor at a elementary and middle school. Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the families I support. With two years of experience caring for children ages 0-11, I provide a patient, calm, and creative environment for up to two children at a time. My background includes Early Child Development coursework, First Aid Training, and CPR Training. I enjoy engaging children through educational games, puzzles, and art. I follow your lead regarding house rules and prioritize your preferred communication method for daily updates. I truly look forward to becoming a trusted sitter in your family's daily life. And lastly most importantly , I want the children that I care for to feel safe, seen, heard, and of course full of positivity. (Side note .. I love going over postive daily affirmations to build confidence).
