About Laura

I'd describe my personality as curious, empathetic, and creative. I like working with kids because I've always enjoyed spending time with them. They're experiencing and learning about the world. It's interesting to see their perspectives on things and help them understand more. I'm the eldest of 4 children, so it feels like I've been "working with kids" for a majority of my life, helping my mother with things around the house and spending time watching my siblings. But I have started more formal jobs a couple years ago. In my spare time, I like to make digital art of my own webcomic, and I'm a very avid reader. I also play a few instruments, like the trumpet and recently learning guitar. My skills include spending time and entertaining kids, being aware of food and cleanliness, and being able to empathize and understand what a child is trying to express.
