About Laura

I am an experienced caregiver who taught preschool for 20 years and was a full- time nanny from 2019 through 2022. I have experience with newborn through 6 years and have done laundry, light housekeeping and ran errands. I am comfortable with pets of all sorts. I like to do crafts, read, have dance parties, and do local trips with my kiddos. I am comfortable working with children with different abilities and have worked extensively with children with food allergies. I do not smoke, I am CPR and first aid certified and believe in allowing children to explore and learn hands on. I try to use positive words and believe in teaching children compassion to all, respect for others and the earth, and how to be good people. I am comfortable working with children on schedules or who are self-regulating. I see my role as nanny as the slightly quirky aunt of the family.
