About Laura

Hi all! Laura here- I'm 31, live in South Boston, and my resume is primarily dominated by all-things childcare and education. I've been very fortunate to have worked for many amazing families throughout the years- caring for children of all ages, from infants to teens. I recently moved to South Boston, and am hoping to find a nannying, tutoring, or household assistant position within the area! I'm also always around for date-night sitting and pet-care as well! Bit about me: I began babysitting around age 13, for younger cousins and lots of neighbors in Arlington (hometown). I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2014 (BS in Speech/Language Pathology, minor in Education). I taught Special Ed at Jonas Clarke MS (Lexington MA) for 7 years while working on my Master's and nannying throughout the summers. I try to incorporate lessons and creativity into all the small moments, be it baking, crafting, picnicking, or a museum trip! My top priorities are obviously safety and happiness!
