Is your preschooler ready for Kindergarten? Seeking a tutor for your preschooler? Hi! I am the mom of 2 grown boys & have a beautiful granddaughter. We moved to Signal Mountain in March. I have 5+ years experience in education. I worked 3 years in a Florida elementary school as a paraprofessional, with emphasis on small group reading intervention. After moving to Texas in 2017 I started with the McKinney ISD preschool program, working with children 2-5. During Covid I homeschooled a 4-year-old, preparing him for Kindergarten. I continued to work with this family, assisting with school pickups & homework and was a full time nanny for their now 3-year-old daughter. I have also worked with a 3-year-old getting her ready for Pre-K. She is now in 2nd grade and I continue to tutor her on Zoom. I build lessons around your child's interests to keep them engaged and I believe children learn best through play and hands on activities. I hope that I can assist your family too!

We hired Miss Laura to teach our daughter preschool curriculum. She's a great teacher and there's not a single day my daughter could go without talking about her. Miss Laura comes with a lot of arts, crafts and science experience to keep my 3 year old engaged during her time. She is very punctual and very sweet with kids and reliable. We had to let her go as we decided to send our daughter to Pre-K in August this year but I would love to hire her back any day!
