About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura and I was recently working at a Catholic elementary school as an After School Moderator (teacher). I work after school with kids, ages 6-9, Monday through Friday. As an after school moderator, I was in charge of passing out the snacks, making sure all the students were accounted for, helping them with homework and making sure they completed their homework. I also give the kids fun activities after doing their homework. I also took them outside to the park or the gym and played with them. I make sure all the kids leave with their parents or a responsible guardian. I also have experience from a summer internship I did in a day camp. I helped pass out the lunches, take attendance, help with everyday activities like taking them to the park, swimming pool, art class, etc. I also supervised the children with other youth leaders on field trips. I enjoy working with kids because they keep me full of energy and with a smile on my face.
