Hello! I've been tutoring and providing homework support through care. com for over 10 years for grades 2-12. I hold a B. A. and M. A., and previously taught Sociology at the Univ. of MN. I enjoy helping young people understand their material, build confidence, and develop learning strategies that many schools don't explicitly teach. My tutoring is structured, calm, and supportive. Topics are: reading, writing, social sciences, manners/social skills, study skills, and general homework support. I also teach students how to learn - including organization, planning, and effective study strategies.
