I have always enjoyed being with children and families, in a variety of capacities. I started babysitting when I was 13, and have returned to childcare as a part time job off and on throughout my life. I find it to be rewarding and enjoyable, but also provides flexibility. Currently I am a partially retired mental health counselor, and just recently moved to Central Oregon. I have two children of my own (22 and 25), and enjoyed their different stages of development. People have described me as friendly, approachable, patient and calm. . I enjoy being outdoors, games, puzzles, and reading/educational games. I am comfortable enforcing household rules, and also helping around the house. I look forward to hearing more about your families' needs and how I can help!

Laura is the best care taker you will find for your child or children. She is intentional, nurturing, and talented. You will not only feel safe and secure knowing your precious cargo are in good hands, but grateful they get to experience the world with Laura’s social emotional awareness, creativity and joyful presence. I have seen Laura in her career as a social worker and in her time taking care of our infant son. She cares for children’s wellbeing and will care for your family as a whole. She is the whole package. We miss having Laura in our lives but we hope she can bless another family. You will not regret hiring Laura.
