About Laura

I like working with kids because I have kids of my own. I love the unfiltered humor they bring and their pride when they learn something new I'm looking for a job while I am between healthcare jobs, I am accustomed to late shifts and weekends but am flexible with my schedule. I work well with clear expectations of schedule and house rules. I started working with kids when I became a ski instructor in 2010, teaching ages 3-14 in group lessons. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, take my kids to playgrounds and trampoline parks, do crafts, and take care of pets. One thing you should know about me is I have boys of my own, ages 5 and 8, so what I have learned works for them can translate to babysitting. My skills include empathetic communication on a child's level, activity planning, and experience with children with medical needs or illnesses,
