About Laura

I'm a compassionate person and care greatly about our seniors and our veterans. I've worked as a CNA with Nurse Delegation for 14 years receiving a lot of education and training along the way, including annual, state-required continuing education classes. I serve seniors with a focus on veterans and also the dementia/Alzheimer's populations. I've worked in care facilities before I transitioned to in-home care. I work both full and part-time as clients' needs vary so much. I have a lot of experience in helping people with their activities of daily living, personal care including showering, med. management, light housekeeping, meal prep, feeding, transportation to appointments, shopping, or just getting out of the house to keep people exercised and connected to society. On a personal note, I took care of my husband for 3 1/2 years; he suffered from Vascular disease, Parkinson's disease, and also Alzheimer's disease. References available upon request.
