About Laura

I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring, creative, and friendly. I like working with kids because they give me the motivation to be a role model, to be creative, and responsible to other person that's not me. It also gives me the opportunity to transmit my knowledge and values to others. I started working with kids when I was in high school in Colombia. I was a volunteer in my school, my job was to take care of kids, and give them tutoring classes on math, Spanish, and English. I have worked with kids from 9 months old to 16 years old. In my spare time, I like to read, study, and draw. However, I also like to go out with friends or spend time with my dog Sylvester and take him to the park or the beach to play. One thing you should know about me is that I'm am responsible and organized. Also that whenever I have a task to do whether it is in the academic or work area I will take it seriously. My skills include patience, communication, creativity, and active listening.
