About Laura

I am a licensed early childhood educator with 13 years experience in a number of diverse educational environments, including working with children with severe special needs in both residential and classroom settings. I also taught integrated preschool (3-early 5s) in Salem MA for three years, and kindergarten in Newburyport MA for three years. I am deeply passionate about teaching and love helping children grow and experience new learning opportunities. I am looking for a position in which I can care for young children part time at home. I will be working as a teaching assistant at a school, so I would be free some nights and weekends, possibly more if learning goes fully remote at the school where I will be teaching. I am also willing to help out by driving children to appointments, running errands, and cooking. I enjoy physical exercise and love to go for walks and play outside.

Laura is a responsible, kind, caring, attentive and fun caregiver. My children (ages 8,4 and 1) LOVE her and get so excited when they know she will be caring for them. Laura arrives on time, adjusts well to the family's agenda and routine, and is extremely flexible. She cares for each individual child and provides creative activities indoors, and outdoors. She has become a part of our family and we are so grateful to know her!
