About Laura

Laura has provided care for our daughter for the last 3 years, starting when H. was about 6 months old. We established a regular routine with Laura, and had her babysit between 2 and 4 times a month. This was helpful, especially for Hannah, who built a really trusting relationship with Laura, and looked forward to her coming. And it was great for us, too. Since Laura knew H. and our routine so well, we didn't have a spend a whole lot of time explaining what was needed before we left the house. If I could, I would give Laura way more than five stars! As soon as I met Laura when she came for a short meet and greet, I knew she was perfect for our family and was very much a baby/kid person. Hannah was little at the time, but she engaged with Laura in those 45 minutes in a way she hadn't with other caregivers we'd interviewed. Obviously, over the past three years, H. has gone through lots of stages of development, and Laura has supported her growth right along with us - bottles to baby food to solids, age-appropriate activities, and most recently potty training and a big girl bed. We always felt confident that Laura was not just providing care to H. while we were gone, but that she genuinely cared for her well-being and development. The two of them always had so much fun together - Laura's love of Disney has been super helpful as H. discovered the princesses; they could often be heard singing together at the top of their lungs while chasing each other around the house! The only reason Laura is no longer sitting for us is that we recently moved an hour away. So our life change is your gain - do not hesitate to hire Laura!
