Hi! My name is Laura, and I'm a private educator here in Dallas! I graduated from Ursuline Academy, and went on to Fordham University. I now work as a full-time private teacher and after-school tutor! I specialize in elementary education in all subjects, as well as English (reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and handwriting) and history for middle and high school students. I have experience working with students with dyslexia and ADHD, as well as students who need help with organization and study skills. I also work with students to complete their college applications and essays, and as a test prep tutor for the ISEE and IOWA tests. Ms. Laura is an educational tour-de-force! Our son M. was falling behind in 5th grade, struggling to stay on reading level. After just a few weeks, we saw improvement in both M.’s grades, and his reading comprehension! Having seen his brother’s improvement, we enrolled our youngest, Q., in Ms. Laura’s early literacy lessons! Q. is just 4 years old, but he’s started really enjoying Frog and Toad. I would absolutely recommend Ms. Laura for any reading problems your children may be facing!
