Hi! My name is Laura, I am 25 years old and officially finished nursing school and am now an LPN. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2021 with a degree in Sociology and double minored in international business and crime and justice studies. I originally went to school to enroll in the police force, but last minute I decided to change my career path and thought nursing was a good fit and it sure is! I am double CPR certified by the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. I am licensed practical nurse in the state of New Jersey as of July 2023 and currently in school for my RN degree. I have grown up watching my mom work in the geriatric community as she too is a nurse herself. The geriatric community holds a special place in my heart as does the pediatric community as I currently work with kids with special needs. Hope to chat soon!
