Laura is fiercely protective; for instance, when she arrived at my friend's house one day, she discovered that my friend had been taken advantage of by a telephone salesman. Laura checked with me and took swift action, calling the company to cancel the unnecessary and costly service. As the sole decision-maker for my friend with dementia, I greatly value Laura's observations and suggestions as an essential member of our team.
