About Laura

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm currently a college student working on my masters degree. I'm a nutrition major working on becoming a registered dietitian. I would like to work as a neonatal dietitian and focus on maternal child nutrition. I'd describe my personality as someone who brings a positive energy to any situation. I'm always eager for fun and new experiences, and I like to approach life with a zest that inspires those around me. I consider myself also remarkably responsible, balancing my sense of adventure with a practical mindset. I started working with kids when I was 16, my first job was a summer job where I worked at a daycare. During college I have done a lot of community hours and I have worked with children providing nutrition lessons and creating a safe, educational and fun environment. In my spare time, I like to create new healthy and fun food recipes and go for runs.
