Hi! I'm Latoya, and I've been working with kids for over 8 years. I've cared for children of all ages-from tiny newborns to busy school-age kids-and I truly love what I do. For the past 2 years, I've been part of a nanny share, caring for two sweet little ones since they were just 3 months old. Before that, I spent 5 years working in a preschool, where I gained lots of experience managing different personalities and keeping little ones engaged through fun, educational activities. I enjoy getting creative with arts and crafts, music, and storytelling, and I always aim to create a warm, safe space where kids can grow, explore, and feel loved. I believe in clear routines, kind guidance, and keeping an open line of communication with parents. I'm currently looking for a new full-time position starting in September and would love to find a great family to grow with!

We hired Latoya after our babysitter fell through at the last minute, and wow-- we could NOT have been more wow'd by her. She came over the very next morning, on time and totally prepared, and we were immediately struck by her warmth and attentiveness to our 2.5-year-old girl. But more importantly, it was our girl who loved Latoya-- this toddler who's normally shy around strangers and cries with babysitters, didn't shed a TEAR the entire week Latoya was with her. In fact, they were very quickly giggling together, playing with toys, doing puzzles, and even playing Jenga after Latoya taught her how. Latoya clearly knows how to engage children, make them feel right at home, and is very empathetic and attentive to their needs and unique personalities. Every day she took our child to the park and on walks, got her down to sleep with no problems, and just basically made our toddler's life (and ours) a total joy. We couldn't be more grateful to have met Latoya and will definitely be hiring her on a regular basis. Hire Latoya-- you and our little ones will be so pleased!
