Hi, my name is LaToya. I have been a nanny 7 times for families including a nanny share. I am a graduate of Arcadia University. My degree is Liberal Studies with a concentration in early childhood education and performing. I also have my Director's Credentials and previously worked as a director. In the past, I worked with children from Infants to School Age. I developed a love for the mini people a. k. a infants and have worked with them for over 5 years and counting. I've also worked in a nanny share where I cared for two babies at the same time. As well as worked with multiage group at once with a newborn and preschool aged children. You should hire me because I am well qualified, have experience, and I will make sure your child hit their milestones and do activities. And best of all, I love children and is often called the baby whisperer. Watching them grow and explore the world around them is so rewarding.

I hired LaToya as a nanny for a short-term assignment prior to moving out of state.  She was fantastic with my daughter! She is punctual (often early), reliable, patient, caring, and  enthusiastic.  Even though my daughter was  only 2.5 months when she started she was invested in her development and made all of her wake windows fun and educational.  She takes directly easily and is able to adapt.  If I wasn’t moving,  I would have asked her to continue as our nanny.  We will miss her! 

Toya has been an absolutely wonderful nanny—she is knowledgeable, responsible, and enthusiastic. Our daughter loves her and has learned so much during their time together. She smiles ear to ear every time Toya walks in the door. 

Toya nannied for us from roughly age 3 months to 1 year. I would recommend her to all first-time parents. There were so many milestones and transitions that I worried about: sleep training, introducing solids, overcoming reflux, speech development, learning to sit, crawl, walk. Toya helped us with all of these and more; we were so fortunate to be able to draw on her experience and have confidence that our baby was getting the attention she needed to progress to the next milestone on time (or even ahead of time). 

We loved Toya so much we kept extending her time with us, from originally just a 5-month gig to almost a year. Without exception, Toya was punctual and reliable, never late or missing a day of work. She is proactive about asking for feedback and flexible in her approach. And she’s just plain fun—singing, dancing, doing crafts, going for walks, everything a baby needs to grow! 

Latoya accepted a position to be the nanny for our infant child and within a week and a half of the starting date, backed out because she was going to stick with another job. We were left in the lurch needing to scramble to find care for our child at the last minute. It was extremely unprofessional and not indicative of someone who can be relied upon. 

Toya was an exceptional caregiver for our three-month-old daughter. She planned a variety of enriching activities each day, which our daughter thoroughly enjoyed. These activities helped her develop increased neck strength and hand coordination. Toya has a warm, energetic personality. She was punctual, communicative, and a pleasure to have in our home. I highly recommend Toya to any family seeking an experienced and skilled professional for childcare.

We love Latoya, and so does our son. She is caring, skilled, and professional. Our childcare needs changed, so we unfortunately didn't get to work with Latoya long, but we highly recommend her.

Toya has been a great caregiver to my 2 kids (infant & toddler). Toya keeps the engaged for the entire time she is there. Doing learning activities, arts and crafts, circle time, etc… She is never late and I never have to worry about whether or not Toya is going to show up. Toya is truly a gem. She is unlike any other caretaker. 

Toya was very attentive and professional when caring for our newborn son overnight. She would give detailed reports at then end of her time with him; the report included when he last fed, diaper changes, etc. As he got older she would send cute pics of their time together, which included things like tummy time. Toya made us and our newborn feel safe and comfortable. 

Toya is an amazing and trustworthy nanny!! Toya assisted with academics, routines and structure all while having fun!! 

I couldn’t have prepared my daughter for school without you Toya! Thank you for always being on time, reliable, consistent, flexible and supportive.

Such a wonderful experience with Latoya. She communicated with us really well before she first watched our son,  so we felt really comfortable with her.  That night she was right on time,  she did a great job bonding with him early so leaving wasn't too tough.  And she sent pictures and updates throughout the night.  Couldn't ask for a better experience. We will definitely be hitting Latoya again!

We could not recommend LaToya enough to anyone who has the opportunity to hire her! We had the pleasure of working with her in a nanny share with our son and one other child during the early stages of their lives. Our son started out with her when he was 3 months old and the amount of love and care he received from LaToya is more than we could have ever asked for. She has many years of experience working with children (especially infants) and it showed every single day she was with him. She always worked with him on his skills through play, and helped him reach milestones using strategies we even were not familiar with as new parents. She was so much fun and always positive - we know our son enjoyed his time with her because he had a smile on his face every time he saw her! 

We also appreciated the constant communication LaToya had with us and was receptive to any special requests we may have had. She was responsive, dependable, and flexible, and our time with her went so smoothly. She cared thoughtfully for two young babies and managed their individual schedules with ease.

LaToya cared for our son from 3 months to almost 9 months, and we wish we could have worked with her even longer. Any family would be lucky to have the experience we did!

LaToya was really great while taking care of our son for six months. She is always upbeat and happy with positive energy, while at the same time being very knowledgeable regarding each stage of our baby’s growth and how to help him get there in a fun environment. She followed the timing of sleep cycles and feeding that we asked for and we were very pleased with the service that she provided us with. We strongly recommend her and would happily hire her again once we get back from our summer vacation. 

To use a cheesy phrase, we didn't just like Toya, we LOVED her. She was amazing, and the perfect person to help my husband and I navigate being new parents to our 3-6 month old son. Toya was all the things you'd want in a nanny - punctual, knowledgeable, easy going, and engaging - but seriously so much more. She was ON the whole time she was with our baby, singing and encouraging him in such a way that he always enjoyed his days. She has a level of energy that we couldn't match, but our son could, so he was definitely getting a better-than-mom-and-dad experience. 

Toya had a pre-planned acceptance to a Director position at a new daycare which is why she was only with us for a short time, but we would have loved to work with her for a long time.

Latoya was our daughter L.'s first childcare provider as well as the head teacher for the infant room & the director for the infant department. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been able to return to work.

Every day, Latoya had special activities planned for HER babies! They made sensory toys, read books, sang songs, met milestones...the list is endless! She even threw themed-parties & included parents! Not only did she decorate her classroom & have parent-child bonding activities, she provided parent snacks & children goodie bags!

Latoya always kept us informed of everything going on during L.'s time with her. The photos & messages we received were great! She's incredibly kind & non-judgmental. She helped me through some difficult & frustrating times, gently gave me helpful tips on the numerous new tasks new parents encounter, & even guided me on sizing L.'s diapers! 

Latoya set the bar high! Several teachers later, Latoya is still L.'s favorite! Ours too!

Latoya provided in-home care for our son as an infant, from  under 6 months through his first birthday. This is obviously a huge responsibility, but Latoya was dependable and knowledgeable. Most of all though,  we remember her fun, outgoing personality, always positive and bringing joy to our son and our home.
