About LaToya

Hello Families!! My name is LaToya and I am a certified teacher with over a decade of experience in early childhood education! I've dedicated my career to nurturing children's growth and development. I have a passion for fostering a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive. Throughout my career as a teacher I have helped students excel substantially in reading and math. As a bilingual teacher, I also have helped students learn and use Spanish. I have experience with all age groups, including high school and college students, but the majority of my experience is in the elementary grades. I am patient, calm, and creative. I use my skills to engage children through songs, play, and educational games and activities in order to learn the skills they need additional help with.
