For 2 years I worked with Nurses unlimited as a Home health Aide. Making sure my clients were getting their everyday needs. bathing, dressing, food preparation, companionship, transportation. Doing chores around the house for them. In my time with Nurses Unlimited I also was able to work in an retirement home with some of the most interesting Seniors Ive ever met. Being allowed to become a live in home aide for one allowed me to better understand the stages of Dementia. my client was in the early stages of dementia and I stayed with her to the end. It opened me up to a whole mother side of what people really go thru and how valuable memories really are.
