About LaTisha

I have worked with kids my entire life. I began babysitting as a pre-teen and continued throughout my teenage years. I volunteered in the nursery at my church in my early twenties and was eventually hired on as staff. I homeschooled my three children and volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Leader when my boys were of Cub Scout age. I also organized and ran a bi-weekly homeschool park days event for the mid-cities area for several years. In my early thirties, I became a dance teacher at the Hurst Recreation Center. I have since opened my own dance studio working with dancers aged 2-68. We just celebrated our 14th year of operation! I have three adult children and three grandchildren (ages 4-7). My grandchildren come over and/or spend the night multiple times per month.
